Fun!

Fun events year round, celebrating all four seasons.  Try your hand at ice fishing in one of the largest tournaments on ice in the country or take in a pow wow on the Turtle Mountain or Spirit Lake Indian Reservations.

Celebrate Rag Tops, music, ducks or winter  -- pick the season and your interest.

Casinos, shopping, dining, everything you find in the big cities but with small town hospitality.

Gardens
Gardens – whether a whole community dedicated to gardening, Churchs Ferry, or the International Peace Garden on the border of the U.S. and Canada.

Fine Arts

If your appetite for adventure is more in line with art and theater, we've got that, too.  Active arts communities in each locale, live summer thearer, historical museums that preserve the past.  Heck, our art even shows up on the outside of our buildings!

Hunting & Fishing

We are more than hunting and fishing, although that is certainly what has gained this area a national reputation.  World class walleye, pike, perch and white bass on the big waters of Devils Lake or the smaller lakes that are part of the Devils Lake Basin and Turtle Mountains.

One of the richest waterfowl hunting regions in the U.S. with Cando the center as the official Duck Capital of North Dakota.
